These ancient ruins were discovered by the crew of the starship Magellan, the planet
Vetustus was a previously unknown planet to
Earth-based telescopes. Upon nearing this site, the crew discovered a building hovering silent and motionless in mid-air above the other ruins, after exploring the building, functional power and propulsion devices were found within it. The means by which these devices were generating the power and anti-gravitational fields were unknown to our science, only occasional variations in static electrical fields close to the devices indicated that the machinery was still functioning.
