The USS Patton is an early Star Trek ship from the spaceflight chronology that predates the classic Enterprise by 80 years.

The Spaceflight Chronology is a wonderful book that laid out the timeline of the Trek universe as well as showing many unusual

ship designs. In my opinion it is a richer and more interesting history than that laid out in more recent times by Berman and Braga.

The Patton was built to live up to it's namesake, in a new Trek universe, where pacifism is passe' and the descendents of Khan's

followers control the Federation. The Patton is, and always will be, the warrior incarnate.
